Privacy Policy
Last updated August 29, 2026
EverPresent Space is a therapy continuity tool operated by SiliconBlast. It gives a therapist and a client a private, shared space to hold what matters between sessions. This policy explains what we collect, why, where it lives, who can see it, and the choices you have. We aim to collect as little as possible and to keep your information in Canada.
This policy is written for our compliance with Canadian privacy law, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, for personal health information in Ontario, the Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA). Where a therapist uses EverPresent Space with their clients, the therapist is the health information custodian and SiliconBlast acts as their information processor.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address, and role (therapist or client).
- Content you create: the moments a client captures, treatment focus notes, session and carry-forward notes, agendas, and consent choices.
- Voice reflections: if a client chooses to record, we transcribe the audio, let the client review the text, and then delete the audio. The therapist only ever receives the approved text, never the recording.
- Operational data: audit logs of who opened a space, and basic technical logs.
We do not sell your information. We do not use your content for advertising. We do not use your content to train our own models.
Consent and control
A client decides what to share, moment by moment. Nothing is shared with the therapist unless the client marks it as shared or brings it to therapy. Consent choices, including whether the quiet AI may organize shared moments and whether voice reflections are enabled, are recorded and can be changed or withdrawn at any time from the consent settings.
Where your information lives
Your account and clinical content are stored in Canada. Our primary database and voice audio storage are hosted in the Canada Central region, and our application servers run in Toronto.
Some features rely on service providers located in the United States. When those features are used, the specific information they need is processed in the United States and is subject to the laws of that country. We limit what is sent, and we choose providers that commit to not training on your data. These are:
- AI session briefs: when a client has turned on AI organizing, the text of their shared moments is sent to our AI provider (Fireworks AI, running the Kimi model) to draft a brief. The brief cites the client's own moments and never diagnoses.
- Voice transcription: when a client records a reflection, the audio is sent to OpenAI for transcription and is not retained by the provider for training.
- Email delivery: invitations, reminders, and digests are sent through Resend.
- Bot protection and web delivery: Cloudflare Turnstile protects sign-up, and our web front end is served through Vercel, which may transit United States edge locations.
Authentication is handled by SiliconBlast Identity, hosted in Canada. Redis, used only to queue background jobs, holds no clinical content.
Who can see your content
- The client, always, for their own space.
- The paired therapist, for the moments the client has chosen to share.
- SiliconBlast staff only when strictly needed to operate or support the service, under confidentiality obligations, and never for any other purpose.
Every time a therapist opens a client's space or brief, it is recorded. A client can see this access log at any time.
Retention
We keep your content while your account is active. Voice audio is deleted as soon as the client approves the transcript. A client can delete their captured content, or erase their account and all of its data, at any time (see Your rights). When an account is erased, we keep only a minimal, non-identifying record that erasure took place, for accountability.
Your rights
Under PIPEDA and PHIPA you may ask to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and to understand how it has been used and disclosed. Inside the app you can:
- Export a copy of your data at any time.
- See who has accessed your space.
- Delete your captured content, or erase your account entirely.
Because SiliconBlast Identity manages your login separately, erasing your EverPresent Space data does not by itself delete your SiliconBlast Identity account. You can remove that from your identity settings. To make any other request, contact us below.
Security
We use encrypted connections, access controls scoped to the therapist-client pairing, audit logging, and Canadian data hosting. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to limit what we hold.
Not an emergency service
EverPresent Space is not monitored in real time and is not for emergencies. If you are in crisis, call or text 9-8-8, the Suicide Crisis Helpline in Canada, or call 911.
Changes
We will update this policy as the service grows and will change the date above when we do. Material changes will be brought to your attention in the app.
